I have never ever cried when watching the news.
But I did this morning. My god, watching it this morning, when they showed those poor helpless people in Louisiana, it just shattered my heart to a thousand splinters. It just kills me to see that nobody is helping them.
The only 'help' they get is the army shooting looters. For crying out loud, isn't there something better they can do? Something more helpful than just standing there holding guard over stuff that's worthless now anyway?
I just can't believe this is happening. I cannot believe this is happening there.
This isn't some third world country with dictators ruling over it.
Yet it looks the same to me. It's absurd. It's BEYOND absurd.
I hope people that are responsible for nothing happening, for not giving the right kind of help, will at least lose their jobs because this is fucked up beyond words. WTF are they doing?!
